About the role
Leads, plans, and evaluates Service Unit-wide quality management, performance improvement, and compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Analyzes data and performance metrics to identify risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement; implements corrective actions to enhance patient care, safety, and operational effectiveness. Serves as a principal advisor to executive leadership on quality, compliance, and risk management issues; develops policies, procedures, and strategic plans. Provides supervision and direction to staff, including workload distribution, performance management, and resource allocation, while ensuring compliance with EEO and personnel policies. Directs risk management and patient safety activities, including incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and oversight of patient advocacy and confidentiality programs (e.g., HIPAA).
