About the role
As a Supervisory General Engineer-Physical Scientist you will: Manages the development of policy changes in response to changes in levels of appropriations or other legislative or policy changes. Participates in multi-year planning, implementation, and integration of programmatic and technical activities throughout the NNSA nuclear security enterprise regarding stockpile production integration objectives. Provides advice to leadership on leveraging maturing technologies, liaising with technology maturation programs to remain abreast of applicable technologies and processes, analyzing and evaluating program objectives/operations, related resource requirements Developing, managing, and directing for all stockpile production integration activities to meet defense program requirements. Provides management oversight, policy direction and guidance, and coordination of the nuclear weapons portion of the Stockpile Stewardship and Management Plan.
