About the role

The incumbent of this position will serve as the Supervisory Criminal Investigator and, as such, will: Lead a geographically dispersed team of criminal investigators, analysts, and other professional staff conducting criminal, civil and administrative investigations; ensuring that all the regional operations are conducted according to the mission, objectives, values, expected behavior, and principles of the OIG. Promote the use of innovative techniques and approaches to plan, direct, prioritize, schedule, and conduct criminal, administrative and civil investigations within the region; and also exercise authority to initiate, prioritize, or decline investigations based on program risk, investigative merit, and strategic priorities.
