Civil Engineer (Structural) - ADL

The Civil Engineer (Structural): Leads Tribal Transportation Facility Bridge Program (TTFBP) and provides program management and oversight of the Bridge Planning component including safety inspections, inventory, and safety compliance of the TTF bridges to conform with the National Bridge Inspection System (NBIS) and the National Bridge Inventory (NBI). Provides program management and oversight of the Bridge Programming component (bridge funding and regulations) of the TTF bridges to conform with the TTFBP regulations, 23 CFR 661. Develops recommendations based on proper interpretation and application of all FHWA policies, procedures, specifications, standards, methods and practices relating to highway structures. Explains, recommends, and follows up to resolve conflicts and/or technical issues. Provides in-person or remote presentations and webinars at national Tribal meetings.
