About the role
This position is located at Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB), Office of Analytics. As a Supervisory Statistician (Data Scientist), you will: Develop and apply statistical methods to identify, collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to build and enhance products, processes, and systems. Apply statistical and mathematical analysis to identify trends, solve analytics problems, optimize performance and processes, and gather intelligence. This includes evaluating opportunities to use machine learning and AI-enabled analytical methods. Lead communication and collaboration with TTB (in various levels of the organization) to analyze and scope the technical and policy requirements needed to implement analytics projects.
