Accountant for nonprofit clients

Job Title: Accountant – CPA Firm Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Accountant to join our CPA firm. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outsourced accounting, grant management, and tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of small nonprofit clients. You will work closely with client leadership and our CPA to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements—including Statement of Activities, Statement of Financial Position, and Statement of Cash Flows. • Fund & Grant Accounting: Track restricted funds, process grant budgets, monitor expenditures against grant guidelines, and prepare grant-specific financial reports for funders. • General Ledger Management: Perform month-end and year-end close procedures, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and maintain accurate ledger records. • Compliance & Audits:
