About the role
Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to exercise supervisory and managerial authorities over the Installation Youth Programs and provide a comprehensive, professional youth program consisting of a balance of well-rounded positive experiences for youth 5-18 years of age. The focus is on three components: Youth Activities, Youth Sports and School-Age Care programs as defined in DAFI 34-144. Duties: Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Youth Center, ensuring that all Youth Programs comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Represents Youth Programs with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Responsible for the financial operation of the Youth Programs, the facilities, grounds, equipment, health and safety.
