Visual Information Spec

Major duties include, but not limited to: Assume full responsibility for visual materials production on assigned projects. Meet with requesters, content specialists, and/or program officials to produce or coordinate the work involved in communicating information through graphic or visual means for publications or materials to be printed, exhibits, and presentations. Selects or originates visual materials. Designs and works out the plan of their treatment for effective use with an understanding of presenter objectives and/or target audience levels. Determines the media, format, ideas/theme, size and appearance of typography, color, photographs, posters, graphs, diagrams and/or illustrations to be used for visualization of text/script/procedures. Coordinates production of new designs/illustrations with others (illustrator/photographer) to meet requirements of treatment plan to summarize important aspects of information to be communicated to provide for an overall unified publication or p
