Pharmacy Supervisor

The duties and responsibilities of the Pharmacy Supervisor include but are not limited to: Clinical Works Closely with clinical pharmacy personnel to ensure that pharmacy personnel are reviewing patient's drug therapy appropriately and that proper follow up is maintained. Ensures that quality clinical services as they pertain to the Outpatient setting are provided for. This would include the consultations to patients, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals on basic information about drug therapy. Ensures that pharmacists and pharmacy technicians function at the top of their licensure and provide exceptional care at all time. Also engages in continuous quality and performance improvement initiatives for both pharmacist and technician workflows. Education Responsible for assisting in the orientation and training of all new employees in the Outpatient Pharmacy area and will coordinate training of such individuals in other department areas.
