Supervisory Recreation Specialist NF-03

Supervises a staff of 3-12 employees, assigns and reviews work assignments on a daily, weekly, or longer basis. Plans work schedules, approves or disapproves leave, determines performance objectives and rates performance. Must be able to support the activity by applying a practical knowledge of recreational activities and skills in the use of recreation materials and facilities. Works in executing recreation events, programs and services to meet the recreational needs of a diverse patronage, including a variety of multi disciplinary events. Recommends items of supplies, materials, prizes, decorations, refreshments, and equipment needed for program functions. Assists with training new personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.
