IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC)

You will provide traditional network security protection by ensuring best security network design practices are adhered. You will update computer images with the latest software and network tools. You will analyze Host Based Security Systems (HBSS) policy , deploy HBSS clients, and perform asset baseline management. You will perform technical evaluations for system/network changes for sound security practices. You will provide Incident Response support, to include investigations, DoD Network and Theater security incidents, and Network Operations (NETOPS) reporting and notifications. You will support, maintain and monitor network firewalls, security tools and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
