ACCOUNTANT

Improves accounting and financial reporting so that the Air Force financial statements could pass an external audit. Ensures that the Air Force implements the principles of OMB Circular A-123, Management's Responsibility for Enterprise Risk and Internal Control. Designs and implements internal controls compliant with the Government Accountability Office's Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government (Green Book). Liaises with external auditors and answers audit questions. Participates and delivers oral presentations.
