About the role
The Deputy Assistant Inspector General (DAIG) for Information Technology Division is a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES), and as such, the DAIG shares the responsibility with the AIG for exercising executive leadership, direction, and management of the ITD, and direct supervision over the Directors. Additionally, the DAIG - Directs a diverse staff of IT and Cybersecurity Specialists. Directs a nationwide program encompassing operations in Headquarters and the field throughout the United States. The DAIG, together with the AIG, is responsible for the strategic planning and management of the OIG-wide IT program, developing and deploying cutting-edge government-wide, department-wide and OIG-specific information technology programs with competing requirements, timeframes and outcomes.
