About the role

The position performs docketing and legal report development using computerized case tracking and record-keeping systems in the United States Attorney's Office (USAO); and provides support to Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) and legal support staff. The automated systems are tools which provide information used to manage litigation from initial referral to final disposition and to provide comprehensive data for resource planning and evaluation. Typical work assignments will include: - Inputs and updates information in databases and systems and updates records and all items docketed as needed. - Recognizes data elements that are missing and locates with research in files or legal reference material. - Develops and maintains records from referral to disposition and case closure, including preparing records for shipment or storage. - Extracts requested program and/or statistical data on a regularly scheduled or ad hoc basis. - Analyzes data, creates and reviews recurring reports,
