Food Service Worker

Sets up carts with proper amount and appropriate size of spoons, forks, plates, bowls, plastic drinking glasses and serving utensils, and replenishes items as needed. Set up carts with appropriate serving portions of hot and cold food items including meats, vegetables, fruits, bread and beverages. Continually cleans and sanitize work area. Sets up and operates dishwashing sinks and dishwashers, performs preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment. Scrapes, soaks, scours and scrubs bowls pots and pans. Also performs heavy duty cleaning task such as exhaust hoods, under and behind kitchen appliances and equipment, sweeps and mops floors, washes down walls, walk-in refrigerator and freezer, sanitizes trash cans. May rotate, label and shelve incoming supplies. Collects and transfers trash from work area to disposal area. Performs other related duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager or Supervisor.
