About the role

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leads the VA HR Operations Center(s). Provides executive leadership to VA senior managers in the areas of human resources, recruitment, staffing, on-boarding, classification, position management, employee suitability, security, processing, records management, employee relations, performance, management, and employee benefits. Serves as an integral part of the OCHCO Executive Leadership team and directs in setting VA workforce development strategy for HR programs and initiatives that could impact the achievement of organizational goals relevant to the delivery of services and access to care provided to Veterans across the Nation. The incumbent assesses current workforce characteristics and future needs based on the strategic plan and agency missions.
