About the role
As an Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include: Supervising the District administrative staff. Overseeing and coordinating all administrative support for the main District office and District sub-offices. Planning the work to be accomplished by subordinates; establishing priorities, assigning work, evaluating work performance, and providing advise, guidance, and counsel to subordinates. Interviewing candidates for administrative positions and making selections. Developing short and long range plans for District administrative operations. Ensuring the administrative and financial management activities are performed accurately and timely in accordance with established regulations and policies. Forecasts district financial needs to ensure district funds are obligated and spent in an appropriate manner, staying within allocated funds while dealing with changes in programs, staffing levels, and/or unanticipated events tied to mission
