Supervisory Human Resources Specialist (Military)

Serve as Supervisory Human Resources (HR) Specialist for the Directorate of Inmate Administration (DIA), Military Correctional Complex (MCC). Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Explain work requirements, methods and procedures. Develop performance standards and rate employees. Hear and resolve complaints from employees. Review inmate board packets for accuracy and completeness. Ensure proper determination of military inmate eligibility for different forms of sentence relief. Develops operating policies, procedures and practices for a wide variety of military inmate personnel boards. Review higher headquarters’ regulations and directives regarding inmate boards program and procedures and implements changes. Certify retrieved inmate legal and confinement (historical and behavioral) records. Create periodic and routine reports from data collected and analyzed. Train Board Branch team members.
