About the role
Directs and manages the work of the Division. Organizes and plans staff work assignments, develops work plans for approved goals and objectives, ensures implementation of goals and objectives and determines optimal approaches and solutions for long range program needs. Uses technical leadership, creativity and judgment, sets objectives, oversees research and analysis, and devises innovative ways to solve problems of major importance to the agency. Monitors technical aspects of broad programmatic issues to ensure successful completion, recommending changes or solutions to problems or redirection of effort as required. Establishes metrics to measure and evaluate the Division's performance. Develops needs analysis to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions and consults with senior management officials to identify specific requirements.
