Management Analyst

The employee is responsible to the Chief and Assistant Chief for managing the front office and assisting other staff by carrying out a complete range of administrative, project management, and analytical functions. Major duties include but are not limited to: Assist and advise management on the effectiveness and efficiency of the Divisions programs and functions. Develops, analyzes, evaluates, and improves the effectiveness of work methods and procedures, management controls, information, and documentation systems. Analyzes management techniques, processes, and styles for improving organizational effectiveness. Handles correspondence and is privy to sensitive employee and labor relations issues. Provides advice and prepares memos for management regarding labor management issues, master agreement discrepancies and managements position on such issues.
