About the role

Serves as Occupational Health Physician supporting coordination of emergency medical scenarios and other health emergency operations. Coordinates delivery of appropriate occupational health services for FDA personnel, including nationwide field personnel, within the framework of the established program structure. Supports and implements medical surveillance programs for animal care and use activities, select agent operations, and chemical and biological laboratory activities, in accordance with protocols and standards established at the program level. Carries out the delivery of appropriate medical and clinical services, including immediately responding to life-threatening events.
