Supervisory Dietitian (Clinical Nutrition)

The Supervisory Dietitian (Clinical Nutrition) assignment oversee the clinical nutrition section of NFS providing administrative and technical supervision over staff which includes clinical dietitians at the GS11 level and below and clinical dietetic technicians.Duties may include, but are not limited to: Responsible for the execution of clinical nutrition programming within the facility, community-based clinics, and the local community. Provides administrative management and direction of the Clinical Nutrition Section. Ensures proper coordination between the delivery of clinical nutrition services and the overall delivery of health care. Responsible for the evidence-based guidelines are integrated into clinical practice and collaborate closely with the Supervisory Dietitian (Food operations) to enhance the Veteran's dining Supports the strategic goals of the food operations section.
