Budget Analyst

The following are the duties of this position at the full working level. Evaluates, reviews, and monitors the resource justifications, allocations and use for assigned program area (s) with special emphasis on conformance with the Division business plan and the IRS strategic plan and performance measures. Provides periodic analysis of assigned program area(s) resource needs, usage and key budget issues. Identifies and responds to budget issues within assigned area(s). Assesses the financial impact of management decisions on budget programs within assigned area(s). Researches and analyzes budgetary and financial issues concerning assigned program area(s).
