About the role
The purpose of this position is to serve as an Outdoor Recreation Trips and Tours Programmer for overall management, planning, maintenance and control of all outdoor facilities and equipment. Develops, organizes, and implements seasonal outdoor programs to include, but not limited to a variety of land and water-related activities and services (e.g., aquatics, camping, backpacking, nature hikes, canoeing, rafting, rock climbing, bicycling, skiing, etc.). Plans and coordinates activities within the limitations of available facilities, equipment, staff, and financial resources. Analyzes all related costs and calculates prices of trips and events. Schedules and publicize outdoor recreation activities. Arrange for off-base equipment, transportation, supplies, and services needed to accomplish scheduled activities.
