VA Careers - Social Work: https://youtube.com/embed/enRhz_ua_UU Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional Major Duties and Responsibilities: The incumbent develops and implements methods for measuring the effectiveness of social work practice and services by utilizing outcome evaluations to improve treatment services. The incumbent is able to demonstrate the ability to design changes based on empirical findings and needs of the Veterans served. The social worker will complete a comprehensive intake/ psychosocial assessment of the veteran in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team, the Veteran, family members and significant others as appropriate. The social worker demonstrates an understanding of the range of treatment and skills needed for all adult patients, including geriatric patients, related to their complex psychiatric presentation, physical limitations, psychological needs and age associated illnesses and conditions. The social worker must have an understand
