Field Safety Specialist

The Field Safety Specialist (FSS) will be responsible for on-the-ground operational and field safety initiatives for East Coast operations, including Washington, D.C., Atlanta, GA, and new cities as needed. This role requires availability for 2nd and 3rd shift rotations, weekends, and holidays, as well as quarterly travel between sites.  You will be responsible for spearheading development and implementing effective customer-focused safety processes commensurate with Zoox’s safety innovative leadership.  Additionally, the FSS is expected to drive the continuous improvements of our Robotaxi operations through the lens of safety. As the Field Safety Specialist, you will continually evaluate field safety operations to define and implement processes that are repeatable across different vehicle platforms and locations to ensure the highest level of safety in operations.
