Associate Director, Military Operations (Program/Budget)

The Associate Director, Military Operations (Program/Budget) serves as the principal advisor to the Director, Operations on all budget matters for Operation and Maintenance appropriations within the Department of War. Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversees the Department's civilian personnel and Combatant Commanders' budgets, foreign currency fluctuation activities, and the tracking of the Department's reform and efficiency initiatives. Participates with the senior staff of the Under Secretary of War (Personnel and Readiness), the Under Secretary of War (Policy), the Under Secretary of War (Acquisition and Sustainment), and the Under Secretary of War (Intelligence) in the technical and financial evaluation of operating programs, including budget formulation, budget execution, and reprogramming of appropriated funds.
