Emergency Preparedness Specialist Emergency Management Division Salary: $84,271 - $90,661 This is a non-supervisory position. Job Summary: This role supports the Emergency Management Division of the Office of the Sergeant at Arms, providing comprehensive emergency planning and operations for the U.S. House of Representatives. The position supports daily life safety programs, including planning, training, drills, and notifications, and works with Legislative Branch partners, federal agencies, and private entities on emergency preparedness and safety standards. Duties: Typical duties include, but are not necessarily limited to: Provides direct support to the development, readiness, and implementation of the House life safety and emergency preparedness program and on occasion, works independently to provide guidance and coordination, for related activities, projects, and programs.
