About the role

As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0501-07, you will manage the authorization, requisition, receipt, maintenance, storage, handling, delivering and disposal of non-nuclear munitions; develop, implement, operate, and analyze munitions accounts including, but not limited to, inventory control, inspection, and item accounting; implement management controls for allocations, stock levels, forecasting, and inventory management; ensure unit members are fully trained and prepared for exercises and contingency deployments; serve as the installation and other supported location(s) focal point for all munitions matters and inquiries concerning recommendations, development, and publication of policy and procedural changes; advise for maintenance, operations, and installation level logistics of munitions, determines munitions compatibility and explosive limits by utilizing the master storage plan, taking into account special requirements, in order to provide proper physical storage to the maximu
