VA Careers - Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist: https://youtube.com/embed/I-4ku5UMvWM Total Rewards of a Allied Health Professional The Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (IR) performs procedures in Interventional Radiology such as digital radiography, peripheral angiography, visceral angiography, cerebral angiography, interventional and therapeutic procedures. Duties include but are not limited to the following: Performs neuroangiography procedures, including spine, head and neck studies utilizing highly sophisticated x-ray equipment such as computerized fluoroscopy, pressure injectors, and patient monitors. Performs peripheral and visceral angiography of the abdominal systems and extremities i.e. renal, hepatic, mesenteric, aortic, femoral, endovascular, using highly sophisticated equipment. Accept patients in IR suite, conducts patient interview, obtaining and updating medical and demographic information. Ensuring patient has knowledge and understanding of procedures being performe
