Construction Analyst

As a Construction Analyst at the GS-0828-12, some of your typical work assignments may include: Verify cause and extent of damage to residential and business structures and facilities characterized by complex design features. Approve loss verification reports, which includes making determinations as to the accuracy and completeness of the report. Verify cause and examines damage to the business machinery and equipment, raw materials, work in progress, finished goods, and inventories to determine cost of repair and replacement. Determine pre-disaster condition of all disaster damaged property. Coordinate disaster damage surveys (PDAs), in coordination with FEMA, state and local officials.
