Accounts Payable Specialist

JOB OVERVIEW We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance and Accounting team.  This role will support the Accounts Payable and Accounting functions to ensure timeliness and accuracy of payments and their related financial statement impact. RESPONSIBILITIES - Process and review purchase orders and invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, receiving and approvals.  - Communicate with procurement team and accounting team to resolve issues - Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies timely - Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with W-9 and 1099 requirements - Collaborate cross-functionally to obtain necessary approvals - Assist in month-end close activities, including accruals and account
