Correctional Program Officer (Assistant Sector Administrator)

Assists in the management and oversight of the operations of Residential Reentry Management and contract confinement/detention services in the assigned sector. Shares in the responsibility for the overall mission of residential reentry management in the sector. This requires effective leadership and management oversight of the sector's Residential Reentry Managers in the development and administration of residential reentry centers, contract detention/confinement facilities, juvenile and adult boarding facilities, and non-residential home detention programs. Programs and services are provided through intergovernmental agreements at the federal, state, county and city levels and through contracts with nonpublic (private) agencies.
