TRANSPORTATION OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (AIR OPS)

You will monitor, verify, and coordinate information that ensures the timely loading/off-loading of cargo, mail, and passengers. You will serve as an Information Controller and/or Ramp Coordinator within the Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC), a 24-hour per day, 7 day per week, 365 days per year operation. You will receive and disseminate information from inside and outside the unit. You will deliver and receive cargo and passenger manifest data from aircraft and brief aircrews regarding characteristics of cargo and number of passengers. You will serve as the eyes and ears of the Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC) on the aircraft and aircraft parking ramp. You will monitor all ground handling operations and inform the Air Terminal Operations Center (ATOC) and work centers regarding the status of operations. You will create aircraft ground handling records for every aircraft arrival and departure. You will enter, compile, and maintain cargo and passenger movement data in electroni
