About the role
The government-wide "Semester of Service" Student Volunteer Program, as authorized under 5 U.S.C §31114 and 5 CFR Part 308, enables Federal agencies to engage students in unpaid, project-based assignments of limited duration. These assignments are designed to align with each agency's strategic priorities, offering participants practical experience within Federal operations while supporting the advancement of targeted initiatives. The Office of Human Resources, Training and Development Division, aims to convert human resources training data into clear and easy-to-understand visualizations. The project includes designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations; transforming data into visually appealing and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making; identifying trends, patterns, and key metrics; supporting the automation of data workflows and reporting processes; and documenting data sources and workflows.
