GLOBAL FORCE MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST & PLANNING SPECIALIST

Summary: The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the program manager and Force Deployment Planner for Joint Task Force - National Capitol Region (JTF-NCR) managing force and unit deployment planning data and plans for the Joint deployment of forces assigned and allocated to JTF-NCR performing Homeland Defense (HD), Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA), and Theater Security Cooperation operations and exercises. Duties: Serves as the sole JTF-NCR GFM Planning Analyst and staff functional authority on GFM policy and procedures necessary to conduct operations for the entire range of conventional Combined and Joint Military Operations. Serves as the staff functional authority for Information Technology (IT) as it relates to GFM, JCRM, and JOPES systems, policies, and procedures. Serves as JTF-NCR's primary GFM and JOPES staff action officer; develops and analyzes the Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP) supporting JTF-NCR / USNORTHCOM operations and exercises.
