About the role
Supply Management: responsible for the inventory management, control and distribution of expendable inventory duties include, but may not be limited to the following: Ensures maximum effectiveness in the management of inventories; Oversees the computation of requirements for supplies; May serve as the approving official for approving reconciled purchase card transactions; Oversees the care and handling of specialized items; Prepares/reviews submissions to obtain approval or funding; Acts as the central point of contact for the coordination of commodity support and the resolution of logistics problems; Returns, Recalls and Reutilization: manages federal and agency programs for the return and reutilization of medical supplies; approves emergent procurement decisions; Participates in root cause analysis process; and serves as the utilization and disposal official for excess consumables; Supervises employees from separate but interrelated units; Makes recommendations for promotions, reassi
