SECURITY SPECIALIST

DUTY 1 - Provides direction and guidance for the Information Security Program for Special Access Programs (SAPs) as designated by the Secretary of the Air Force. DUTY 2 - Directs the Administration of the Information Systems Security Program. Directs the administration of an USAF wide classification Special Access Information System Security Program. DUTY 3 - Directs the Personnel Security Program. Provides policy interpretation and guidance for the Personnel Security Program for the System Program Officers, government agencies and all entities involved in the SAP. DUTY 4 - Directs the Physical Security Program. Ensures appropriate documentation and accreditors of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPF) are performed. DUTY 5 - Provides policy oversight and interpretation to staff agency security managers and Contractor Program Security Officers (CPSO) in implementing security education and motivation programs.
