Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure R&D

The Environments Accelerator team, part of the broader Cloud Foundation group is focused on dramatically reducing the time, complexity, and operational overhead required to provision new environments and datacenters across Datadog infrastructure. In this role, you’ll help design and build the systems that make infrastructure environments reproducible, composable, and increasingly self-service from declarative datacenter configuration and bootstrap orchestration to environment validation and ephemeral infrastructure provisioning. This team operates as an infrastructure R&D pod, partnering closely with a broad range of product, platform, and infrastructure teams. They test innovative patterns for large-scale infrastructure provisioning and operations, such as creating lightweight, temporary datacenter environments designed to accommodate the rapid expansion of AI inference workloads.
