About the role
What are the Major Duties of this Position? The incumbent oversees the administration and presentation of numerous specialty training courses. Incumbent serves as acting Deputy Director, during the Deputy Director's absence. Serves as a member of the MSTC management staff providing input on a variety of matters related to the facility and its mission. Serves on committees providing expertise on a number of diverse and strategic issues. Serves as the Duty Officer for the MSTC on a rotational basis. Incumbent is responsible for monitoring, researching, and recommending for adoption, current developments in adult education and methodology for integration into the course curriculum, which have proven successful in other public and private sector organizations. Designs and implements evaluation strategies to determine program relevancy and effectiveness. Develops and manages systematic, formative, short-term evaluation on the effectiveness of programs and tests.
