HEAVY MOBILE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

Performs heavy mobile equipment mechanic work including troubleshooting malfunctions, determining the type and extent of repair required, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Performs automotive mechanic work including troubleshooting malfunctions, determining the type and extent of repair required, repairing, and maintaining vehicles. Uses diagnostic tools, orders parts, completes documentation, and provides training and assistance to others. Utilizes established practices, procedures, and regulations regarding safety, security, and environmental issues; maintains safe and clean work environment; participates in assigned shop upkeep efforts; completes all required reports, work orders, inspection and certification forms, and time sheets.
