Materials Handler Supervisor (Fire Support)

Supervises a diverse workforce performing at the WL-06, WL-05, WG-06 and WG-05 levels and a wide number of emergency hire personnel while providing for work safety, following agency policy, manuals, and national standards. Provides direct working supervision, administrative, training, technical oversight, problem solving and direction to floor activity. Has responsibility and supervision for a specific functional area or equipment group in a large warehouse such general supplies, hazardous materials, accountable property, warehouse equipment, etc. Works independently and/or supervises sequences of loading and unloading, developing space utilization plans, and implementing the movement of materials from dock to bin or from storage to shipping.
