Privacy Act Specialist

As a Privacy Act Specialist, you will: Assist the Chief Privacy Officer in coordinating, implementation and compliance monitoring with agency privacy and safeguarding programs. Assist with IRS Federal Tax Information safeguarding and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) compliance programs. Assist in analyzing and evaluating agency programs and initiatives to ensure that the use of technologies support, and do not erode, privacy protections related to the use, collection, safeguarding and disclosure of personal or sensitive information. Support the Chief Privacy Officer in implementing and monitoring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and privacy engineering controls to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with Federal privacy and cybersecurity requirements.
