Housekeeping Aid - Environmental Services Technician Supervisor

The Housekeeping Aid - Environmental Services Technician Supervisor exercises technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing tasks (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the Environmental Management Service goals and objectives. Major duties and responsibilities will include: Assigning staff for duties on a daily and a project-by-project basis; Coordinating work with supervisors of other services within the assigned area of jurisdiction so as not to interrupt patient care or other activities; Cleaning all patient areas and corridor spaces throughout the medical center, operating rooms, and all other areas as assigned; Ensuring the efficient and economical accomplishment of work assignments of subordinates within established policies and schedules; Planning and scheduling daily and weekly assignments, taking into consideration the availability of personnel and equipment to meet established priorities
