About the role
Major Duties: Follow established laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to support emergency communications for law enforcement, fire, medical, and other public safety operations Receive and process emergency and non-emergency calls, gathering critical information using structured call taking protocols. Dispatch personnel and equipment to incidents after training, ensuring accurate, timely communication in a fast-paced environment. Operate telecommunications, CAD, and monitoring systems to maintain situational awareness and support field units. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
