About the role
Administrative Support Assistants independently perform a wide variety of functions related to budget and finance, human resources, natural resources, travel, timekeeping/payroll, correspondence, records, collections, and public contact. Administrative Support Assistants provide general information concerning office operations to the public both orally and in writing. They may also serve as a collections officer preparing appropriate receipts, records, and tracking forms; depositing monies and reconcile accounts receivable. Administrative Support Assistants may be expected to handle incoming/outgoing mail, manage a central filing system, both paper and electronic, and provide assistance in researching and locating files.
