Physician (ICU - General Surgery)

The Critical Care Surgeon routinely performs outpatient general surgery and inpatient critical care and general surgery patient care; determines diagnoses, and initiates treatments based on education, training and standards of care. Position duties include but are not limited to the following: Diagnose and treat medical and surgical disorders using the most appropriate techniques in providing quality care. Responsible for initial evaluation and overall workups, history & physicals, and admission of general and subspecialty critical care patients as needed. Clinical duties include but are not limited to Operating Room (experience in wide variety of standard general surgical procedures and operations including laparoscopy), in-patient rounds, Emergency Room and Outpatient Clinics.
