About the role

The primary purpose of this position is: Serve as the 305 Operations Group (OG) Deputy to the Commander in Air Mobility Command's second largest OG with more than 850 funded authorizations. With the commander, the incumbent oversees the complex, numerous, and varied day-to-day worldwide execution of aerial refueling and airlift flying operations, operations support, and special operations under peacetime, contingency and wartime. DUTIES: As full deputy to the commander, directs, plans, organizes, and manages the day-to-day mission execution of the 305 AMW's Operations Group, the second largest Operations Group in Air Mobility Command. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Represents the 305 Wing Commander and 305 Operations Group Commander and in strategic planning with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
