SHEET METAL MECHANIC (AIRCRAFT) SUPERVISOR

The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as section supervisor over employees engaged in condition evaluation, test, repair, modification and overhaul of aircraft structural assemblies, components, and pans. Employees are engaged in identification, removal, and prevention of corrosion on assigned/authorized aircraft, and ground support equipment. Additionally, other employees are required to inspect machines, weld, repair aircraft pans and components. and to design and manufoc1urc support equipment used in all types of aircraft maintenance. Provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of task herein. Duties: Performs work planning responsibilities. Performs work direction responsibilities.
