About the role
As Director of Field Operations, you will be responsible for managing the full range of inspection, intelligence analysis, examination, and law enforcement activities, to include apprehension, detention, and arrests relating to the arrival and departure of persons, as well as the detention and seizure of conveyances and merchandise at Ports of Entry within an assigned geographic area. Through subordinate Assistant Directors/Port Directors, supervisors, and support staff, you will plan and direct layered enforcement activities to address border security, and ensure compliance with trade laws. The enforcement activities include interdiction and security, passenger operations, passenger and cargo targeting and analysis, tactical operations, and animal and plant health inspection.
